Job Overview
- The Business Development Executive will support the Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities, building and managing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth.
- This role is ideal for professionals with 1–2 years of experience, particularly those with exposure to banking, financial services, or sales-driven environments, who are eager to grow in a fast‑paced corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients, markets, and business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and competitor activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of strong client relationships.
- Participate in client meetings and follow up on inquiries and leads.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
- Coordinate meetings and organize sales and business documentation.
- Maintain and update client records and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Monitor industry developments and share relevant business insights.
- Represent the company at networking, marketing, and promotional events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Development Lead.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer relationship roles (banking or financial services experience is an advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships.
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, and business development principles.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); basic knowledge of CRM tools is an advantage.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
