HR Manager

Job Summary
- We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions within the school.
- The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building a positive work culture, attracting and retaining high-quality staff, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour laws.
- The candidate must also be computer literate to efficiently manage HR systems, payroll, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Manage staff performance appraisals, disciplinary processes, and employee relations
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and school regulations
- Coordinate payroll, leave management, and staff records using HR software
- Organize training, professional development, and capacity-building programs
- Advise school management on HR planning, organizational structure, and workforce strategies.
Requirements
- HND or BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years HR experience, preferably in the education sector
- Computer literate with proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational ability
- Ability to work strategically while handling day-to-day HR operations.
