Hiring: Senior Product Designer

Role Overview:
Rova is looking for a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end mobile and web product experiences. You will collaborate with another Senior Designer, maintain design consistency, and drive research-informed solutions across fintech flows.
Key Focus Areas:
* Cross-border payments & FX flows
* Multi-currency products
* Card issuance, funding, and error handling
* Compliance-driven flows (KYC, verification, restrictions)
* Data-informed design solutions using AI tools
Responsibilities:
* Lead design of Rova’s mobile and web experiences
* Maintain design system integrity and reusable components
* Conduct user research and usability testing
* Collaborate with Product Managers to align on priorities and milestones
* Work with Engineering to ensure feasible, high-quality designs
* Translate compliance and legal requirements into user-friendly flows
* Solve recurring UX issues using insights from Support & Operations
Requirements:
* 5+ years in Product Design, with live fintech products
* Expertise in complex transactional flows (payments, FX, savings)
* Strong mobile-first design skills
* Proficiency in Figma (components, variants, design system, prototyping)
* Experience with user research and usability testing
* Comfortable using AI-enabled design tools
Preferred:
* Experience with cross-border or multi-currency products
* Familiarity with Nigeria & UK financial ecosystems
* Experience collaborating with senior designers
* Exposure to admin dashboards or internal tools
Success Indicators:
* Smooth ownership of existing product flows
* Reduced UX-related support tickets
* Strong collaboration and alignment with design team
* Scalable design patterns across mobile and web
