Job Overview
- We are recruiting a structured and results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee fleet operations and manage drivers within a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating driver activities, ensuring timely deliveries, monitoring compliance, and maintaining operational efficiency across logistics processes.
- This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage field teams effectively.
- Ultimately, you will ensure smooth daily logistics operations, driver accountability, and consistent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery operations.
- Plan and coordinate daily logistics activities, including dispatch schedules and route management.
- Monitor driver performance, attendance, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Track deliveries and resolve operational issues or delays promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle activities.
- Ensure proper communication between drivers, operations team, and management.
- Enforce discipline and handle driver-related issues, including escalations where necessary.
- Monitor vehicle usage and coordinate basic maintenance reporting
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND / HND / BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field with 2–3 years’ experience in logistics, fleet management, or operations supervision.
- Proven experience managing drivers or field staff.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.
- Basic knowledge of logistics processes and route planning.
- High level of accountability and problem-solving skills.
Salary
N180,000 / Month (Net).
