About Us
We are a trusted community retail pharmacy dedicated to providing quality healthcare products and services to our neighborhood in Lekki and other parts of Lagos. We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support our growing business.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily sales, expenses, inventory purchases, and payroll.
• Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, including supplier payments and customer credit (where applicable).
• Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, Pension, NHF).
• Monitor inventory valuation and assist in periodic stock counts.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with LIRS and FIRS regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis for decision-making.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial vouchers and receipts.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certification: ACA, ACCA (in view or completed) is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail, pharmacy, or FMCG environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level – pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws (VAT, CIT, PAYE) and financial reporting standards.
• Soft Skills: High integrity, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
