Job Description

• The Security Officer ensures the safety and security of employees, visitors, and property within the office premises.
• They act as the first line of defense against potential threats, enforce security protocols, and maintain order.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification of staff and visitors.
• Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the office premises.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies (fire, medical, or security-related).
• Reporting: Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to company safety policies and emergency procedures.
• Support Services: Assist employees and visitors with directions, escort duties, and general inquiries.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
