Hospitality Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Description
- The Hospitality Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the bar, ensuring efficient service delivery, staff supervision, inventory control, revenue management, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- The role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth service delivery
- Supervise, schedule, and manage bar staff
- Ensure high standards of customer service and hygiene
- Monitor sales, cash handling, and daily reconciliation
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier coordination
- Control costs and minimize waste and pilferage
- Implement company policies and operational procedures
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Requirements
Education:
- OND / HND / BSc in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional hospitality certifications are an added advantage
Experience:
- 2–5 years experience in bar or hospitality operations
- Minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience managing staff, inventory, and cash.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of bar operations and beverage management
- Financial awareness, cash control, and basic reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Integrity, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
Salary
N50,000 - N100,000 per month.
