Job Description Corporate Strategy and Performance Improvement
Objective
To report and work closely with the Head of Corporate Strategy in assessing, tracking the Bank’s strategy and performance.
Support treasury operations and review the bank’s processes to identify gaps and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate performance management, reporting and presentation of monthly MPR reports to track business performance.
• Track all transactions application stages to eradicate inefficiencies and lag period.
• Reviewing the Bank’s processes and identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
• Support daily treasury activities including liquidity monitoring and cash management.
• Track funding positions, placements, and maturities.
• Manage the process of income assurance and expenditure management in line with budgets and forecasts at Unit Levels and Bank-Wide.
• Be responsible for accurate data collection, analysis and reporting of performance data in line with budget, business plans and team leadership.
Competency & Skill Requirements
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of financial analysis.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian financial services market.
• Ability to interpret large amounts of information and identify trends, patterns and other important information.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years progressive work experience in similar capacity.
• Some level of management experience and relevant professional certifications.
• Work experience in a Bank or Financial Institution.
