HSE Officer

The Role
- We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to drive safety compliance and manage our NAFDAC regulatory processes.
- This is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for HSE systems and regulatory documentation across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct HSE inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and environmental practices
- Deliver HSE trainings, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Manage NAFDAC applications, renewals, and regulatory documentation
- Maintain accurate HSE and compliance records
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
- 3 - 5 years' HSE experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or related industry.
- Direct, hands-on NAFDAC experience — applications, renewals, documentation (mandatory)
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of HSE systems and chemical safety
Added Advantage:
- Experience supporting regulatory audits
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or related standards
- Strong documentation and report writing skills.
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
