Internal Control Associate
Location: Benin, Edo

Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Develop and implement fraud prevention programs to detect and prevent fraudulent activities
- Continuously review and improve internal control systems for effectiveness and efficiency
- Plan and coordinate financial, regulatory, compliance, and operational reviews
- Monitor financial risk assessments and identify controls to mitigate risks
- Perform control procedures to test the reliability of established processes
- Identify control gaps and recommend opportunities for improvement
- Ensure corporate assets are safeguarded and properly accounted for at all times
- Ensure compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by Senior Leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or any related business discipline
- 2 - 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in the health or service sector
- Membership of relevant professional bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or ACCA is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong negotiation, communication, business presentation, and people management skills.
