About the Role

Hitech Construction Company Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards, and supporting effective financial planning and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers in accordance with accounting standards.

- Prepare timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

- Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.

- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.

- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to support financial planning.

- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies.

- Process payroll and ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions.

- Support both internal and external audit processes by providing relevant documentation.

- Develop and implement effective accounting procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

- Collaborate with management to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting.

- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience as an Accountant, preferably within the construction, dredging, or engineering industry.

- Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
