Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial health by managing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. The role supports strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial insights, ensuring strong financial controls, and
driving efficiently use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
⭐ Preparation and timely submission of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements for assigned businesses.
⭐Review of GL proofs and reconciliation reports.
⭐Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making by the executive team and other business units.
⭐Collaborate with assigned businesses to provide financial expertise and support for operational and strategic initiatives.
⭐Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
⭐Represent assigned businesses on financial matters in cross-functional meetings and committees.
⭐Provide guidelines and support in the budgeting and forecasting process, provide financial data and analysis to assigned business.
⭐Identify and analyze financial risks faced by the business and develop risk management strategies to mitigate such risks.
⭐Coordinate and manage external auditors during annual financial audits of assigned businesses.
⭐Assess and recommend improvements in financial systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness
Qualifications & Experience:
⭐Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
⭐Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in Financial Services.
⭐Familiarity with the Nigerian financial market and regulatory landscape.
⭐MBA or MSC
Professional Certification: Membership of a recognized professional body such as, ICAN, ACCA, etc.

understanding in daily activities.

o Must possess self-confidence, personal integrity, credibility and be result-oriented.
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
