Male Accountant
Location: Abule-Egba, Lagos
Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Hotel Accountant to manage the financial operations of our hotel.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing payroll, conducting audits, and ensuring effective cost control to support profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate staff payments
- Monitor and control hotel expenses through effective cost accounting practices
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management
- Supervise inventory control and cost tracking for hotel operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of payroll management, auditing, and cost accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must not be more than 45 years of age.
Salary
N150,000 / month.
