Description
- Our client is seeking a Pharmacist to join their team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on drug therapy, and ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, possible side effects, and storage instructions.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Maintain proper storage and security of pharmaceutical products in line with regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional pharmacy practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and minimize medication wastage.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Keep accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and patient interactions.
- Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
- Must be a registered and licensed Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products and inventory management.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
