Interventional Cardiologist

Location: Abuja

Role Description

  • This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interventional Cardiologist located in Abuja.
  • The candidate will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including catheterizations and minimally invasive interventions, while working closely with the Cath Lab team.
  • Responsibilities include assessing and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, and contributing to advancements in cardiovascular care through research and continuous education.
  • The Interventional Cardiologist will also provide mentorship and training to junior doctors and healthcare staff, maintaining the highest quality of patient care.


Qualifications

  • Expertise in Medicine and Cardiology, with a strong understanding of cardiovascular health and treatment.
  • Proficiency in operating and interpreting diagnostic tools and procedures in a Cath Lab environment.
  • Specialized skills in Interventional and Interventional Cardiology procedures, such as angioplasty and stent placement.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
  • Board certification or equivalent in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
  • Eligibility to practice medicine and perform interventional cardiology procedures in Nigeria.
  • Additional training or experience in advanced cardiac imaging is an advantage.
  • Commitment to quality patient care, professional development, and medical research.
