Operations Specialist

About the Role
- We are seeking a smart, analytical, and highly driven Operations Specialist to play a central role in coordinating and optimizing operations across our retail fuel stations.
- This role is critical to driving performance, improving efficiency, minimizing leakages, and strengthening the overall business position.
- The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, data-savvy, and proactive, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance sales, customer experience, and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and performance management of multiple fuel stations and outlets
- Collect, track, and analyze operational and sales data across stations
- Conduct regular station visits to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and service standards
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and potential leakages/fraud, and implement corrective measures
- Develop and execute initiatives to improve sales, attract customers, and increase station profitability
- Support brand development and business repositioning strategies across outlets
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and reconciliation processes
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and HSE standards
- Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and insights for management decision-making
- Work closely with station managers and field teams to drive performance improvements
Requirements
- Minimum of HND/ B.Sc. in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- 2–5 years’ experience in operations, preferably within the oil & gas downstream or retail sector
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Solid understanding of inventory management and control systems
- Experience in field operations and multi-location coordination is an added advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Must reside in Ogbaku, Imo State, or be willing to relocate
