Experience & qualification: We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials and services at competitive prices, and supervising the purchasing team to maintain efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Zoho, or Oracle).

KRAs/Key Deliverables of the Job

·        Supervise daily purchasing activities, ensuring procurement processes are efficient and meet company standards

·        Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, and services.

·        Ensure purchase orders are accurate and issued on time.

·        Identify and evaluate supplier to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

·        Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure goals and deadlines are met.

·        Prepare and present reports on procurement performance.

·        Work closely with the other departments to align purchasing activities with business needs.

·        Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
