Pharmacy Technician
Location: Uromi, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately to patients.
- Maintaining and organizing pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates.
- Preparing prescription labels and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Processing patient prescriptions and managing point-of-sale transactions.
- Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment in compliance with hospital standards.
- Providing basic counseling to patients on drug usage as directed by the Pharmacist.
Requirements
- Education: Must possess a Pharmacy Technician Certificate from a recognized School of Health Technology.
- Registration: Must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and possess a valid practicing license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in basic computer operations.
- Must be a team player with a high level of integrity.
- Candidates must reside within Uromi or its immediate environs.
Salary
N70,000 monthly.
