Laboratory Technician
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and analyze patient samples (blood, urine, stool, etc.)
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures accurately
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of test results
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
- Provide professional support and clear communication to patients and healthcare staff
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Valid professional license/certification as a Laboratory Technician
- Proven experience in clinical laboratory procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and communication skills.
