Human Resource Generalist

Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to manage and support core HR functions.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HR systems, a solid understanding of modern HR practices, and a strong grasp of Nigerian labour laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes using HRIS platforms
- Maintain accurate employee records, generate HR reports, and ensure data integrity within HR systems
- Implement and continuously improve HR policies in line with updated HR best practices and organizational goals
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws, regulations, and statutory requirements
- Drive performance management processes including goal setting, appraisals, feedback systems, and performance improvement plans
- Support learning and development initiatives aligned with business needs and employee growth
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures in a fair and compliant manner
- Monitor employee engagement and recommend strategies to improve workplace culture and retention
- Partner with management to provide HR insights and support strategic decision-making
- Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and other HR operational activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4years proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Practical experience with HRIS and HR data management tools
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Salary
N280,000 - N400,000 / month.
