Chief Operating Officer (Oil Palm)

Job Objective
- Lead and optimize all operational activities (plantation, milling, logistics, and supply chain) to ensure efficiency, profitability, compliance, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the MD/CEO in defining and executing strategy.
- Oversee plantation and milling operations to maximize yield, efficiency, and quality.
- Drive mechanization, modernization, and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and track KPIs for performance improvement.
- Lead and develop teams, ensuring productivity and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with RSPO, ISO, and regulatory standards.
- Manage operational risks, stakeholder engagement, and community relations.
- Provide regular operational reports and support board/investor engagements.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years’ experience in agribusiness/plantation operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Strong experience in oil palm operations, sustainability standards, and budget management.
Professional Certificate (Preferred):
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, RSPO, ISO, HSE (NEBOSH/IOSH), or relevant professional memberships.
