Our client, a reputable pharmacy, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to manage the organization’s financial records, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions
The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting standards, and experience in financial reporting and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and financial policies.
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and financial efficiency.
Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors when required.
Manage payroll processing and statutory remittances.
Monitor budgets and track financial performance against targets.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
Requirements
Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN / ACCA certified).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years relevant accounting experience (pharmacy, retail, or FMCG experience is an advantage).
Experience with financial analysis and budgeting.
Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and statutory compliance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
