Job Summary
- The Personal Assistant to the Managing Director provides high-level, strategic, and administrative support to ensure the MD’s daily activities run efficiently.
- This role requires a highly proactive, detail-oriented, and resilient individual who can manage pressure, prioritize effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support:
- Manage the MD’s calendar, appointments, and daily schedule with precision.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure timely follow-ups on action points.
- Screen calls, emails, and requests, ensuring proper prioritization.
Coordination & Follow-Up:
- Track tasks, assignments, and directives issued by the MD across departments.
- Follow up with team members to ensure timely execution and accountability.
- Provide regular updates to the MD on progress, delays, and pending items.
Communication Management:
- Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft professional correspondence and ensure clear communication of directives.
- Ensure instructions from the MD are properly understood and executed.
Operational Support:
- Support the MD in monitoring business operations and key activities.
- Assist in coordinating projects, meetings, and management engagements.
- Ensure alignment between the MD’s directives and execution by teams.
Confidentiality & Discretion:
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
- Maintain professionalism and composure at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Business Administration or related field.
- 3 – 6 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant to senior leadership.
- Proven experience supporting high-demand executives in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle direct feedback, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Salary
250,000 per month.
