Sonographer (Part-Time)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Sonographer to join our clinical team. This role is essential for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and ensuring an exceptional patient experience through technical expertise and professional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts, in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Analyze scanned images to ensure quality and diagnostic accuracy before transitioning them to the reporting physician.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues to ensure consistent operational uptime.
- Document patient history and clinical findings accurately within the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with the medical team to prioritize urgent scans and coordinate patient flow.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Medical Sonography or Radiography from an accredited institution.
- Current registration and license to practice with the relevant national regulatory body.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, with proficiency in 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging techniques.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical clinical standards.
Salary
Schedule and Accommodation:
- The successful candidates will be required to be on duty three times a week.
