Sonographer (Part-Time)

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Employment Type: Part-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Sonographer to join our clinical team. This role is essential for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and ensuring an exceptional patient experience through technical expertise and professional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Analyze scanned images to ensure quality and diagnostic accuracy before transitioning them to the reporting physician.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues to ensure consistent operational uptime.
  • Document patient history and clinical findings accurately within the electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to prioritize urgent scans and coordinate patient flow.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Medical Sonography or Radiography from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration and license to practice with the relevant national regulatory body.
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting, with proficiency in 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging techniques.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical clinical standards.

Salary

  • N200,000 per month

Schedule and Accommodation:

  • The successful candidates will be required to be on duty three times a week.
  • Housing: Please note that no accommodation is available for this position; candidates should ensure they can commute reliably to the facility.
