Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Operations) to lead cross-functional operational projects across warehouse, production, laboratory, and field engineering functions within an oil and gas environment.
- The role requires strong project management expertise, operational leadership, and the ability to coordinate technical teams supporting field and customer operations.
Key Responsibilties
- Plan and execute operational projects across warehouse, production, laboratory, and field engineering functions.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
- Coordinate daily operational activities and ensure operational readiness.
- Oversee warehouse inventory, logistics, and materials management.
- Align production schedules with project timelines and monitor production KPIs.
- Coordinate laboratory testing, quality checks, and analytical support.
- Manage Field Applications Engineers supporting field operations and customers.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
- Provide project updates and reports to senior management.
Requirements
Education:
- HND, B.Sc, or B.Eng Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification or training will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Proven experience in project management within oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, or industrial operations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse, production, laboratory, and field engineering environments.
- Experience managing cross-functional operational teams.
- Professional project management certifications are an added advantage.
Skills:
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of HSE and operational compliance requirements.
Renumeration
N500,000 – N700,000 monthly (Dependent on experience and qualifications).
