Job Summary:
We are seeking a Finance Manager that will support the Finance Controller in managing treasury and stores-related finance operations, with a strong focus on inventory accounting, financial controls, and process efficiency. The role ensures accurate accounting of inventory, loans, deposits, and insurance, timely monthly closures, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day treasury and stores finance operations.
- Own inventory and stores accounting, ensuring accurate valuation, reconciliation, and controls.
- Design and improve processes for inventory movement, store management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing entries for inventory, loans, deposits, interests, and treasury transactions.
- Monitor loan and deposit transactions, including interest accruals and lender reconciliations.
- Manage insurance accounting, claims tracking, renewals, and broker coordination.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank, inventory, loan, deposit, and insurance accounts.
- Support internal and external audits with complete and audit-ready documentation.
- Drive ERP and system improvements within treasury and inventory modules.
- Prepare MIS and financial analysis on inventory and treasury.
- Supervise and guide junior finance team members.
Requirements and Skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, treasury, inventory accounting, or audit.
- Experience in infrastructure or large operational environments is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of treasury operations, inventory accounting, and financial controls.
- Sound understanding of loan, deposit, and interest accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory tools, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team leadership and collaboration skills with strong attention to detail.
