Matron (Double Qualified RN / RM)

Responsibilities
- Coordinating the Nursing department effectively
- Ensuring that the International Patients Safety Goals are met at all times
- Ensuring compliance to SOPs and hospital guidelines
- Organizing weekly nurses CME
- Working directly with the Medical Director, Consultants, Admin manager , HMO officers, Quality & Infection Control officers to ensure delivery and improvement of quality healthcare
- Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Providing complete prenatal care, including screening tests, and also postnatal visits
- Overseeing and monitoring the labour process and advising mothers on their options to manage pain
- Identifying high-risk pregnancies and referring such patients to the relevant medical specialists
- Providing training and guidance for junior colleagues
- Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribing assistive medical advices and related treatments.
- Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
- Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
- Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years working experience.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
