Job Description
- Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Inventory & Logistics Manager to oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination across its Lagos and Ibadan operations.
- The ideal candidate will ensure efficient stock management, seamless distribution processes, and cost-effective logistics operations that support overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory planning, stock control, and warehouse management processes across locations.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while preventing shortages or overstocking.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory tracking and reporting systems.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Optimize logistics routes and processes to reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements relating to inventory and logistics.
- Prepare inventory and logistics performance reports for management review.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in inventory management and logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and supply chain processes.
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage processes and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software is an added advantage.
