Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lawyer to provide legal support and guidance on all real estate transactions and operations within the company.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling property documentation, reviewing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting the company’s legal interests in all real estate dealings.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate property agreements, leases, sales contracts, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
- Conduct title searches and due diligence on properties before acquisition or sale.
- Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and government policies.
- Liaise with government agencies, land registries, and regulatory authorities for property documentation and approvals.
- Handle property disputes, litigation matters, and legal claims involving the company.
- Provide legal advice to management on property acquisition, development projects, and land matters.
Requirements
- LL.B Degree in Law from a recognized university.
- BL qualification and called to the Nigerian Bar.
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years experience in real estate or property law.
- Strong knowledge of land laws, property documentation, and real estate regulations in Nigeria.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling land documentation and title verification.
- Familiarity with property registration processes and land registry operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters.
Benefits
- Salary: N400,000 / month
- HMO (Pension after 3 months probation).
