About the role
Our client a Microfinance Bank in Lagos is looking to hire a Finance Manager to oversee the bankβs financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain regulatory compliance, and support strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Manage day-to-day financial operations of the bank.
β’ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
β’ Ensure compliance with CBN financial reporting requirements.
β’ Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
β’ Manage statutory deductions, taxes, and regulatory returns.
β’ Supervise accounting staff and ensure proper financial controls.
β’ Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital adequacy.
β’ Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.
β’ Support Management with financial analysis and decision support.
β’ Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and systems.
Requirements
β’ HND (Upper Credit) or B.Sc (Minimum 2:2)
β’ MBA or MSc (Compulsory)
β’ ACA or ACCA (Compulsory)
β’ Minimum of 6β8 years relevant experience
β’ Microfinance Bank experience is compulsory
β’ Strong background in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
β’ High integrity and accountability
β’ Advanced Excel and accounting systems knowledge
