Finance Manager

Job Description
- The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial planning, reporting, and control processes to ensure strong financial performance and regulatory compliance.
- The role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, revenue assurance, cost management, financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.
- The ideal candidate will drive financial efficiency, strengthen internal controls, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth in the fast-paced telecoms environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all finance and accounting operations.
- Develop financial strategies that strengthen growth, compliance, and profitability.
- Oversee revenue assurance, and customer billing reconciliations.
- Ensure regulatory and tax compliance (FIRS, NCC, CAC, etc.).
- Deliver timely management reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Advise management on financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and planning.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization, i.e., evaluation of new projects and ventures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Professional certification — ACA, ACCA, or CPA (required).
- 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in senior management.
- Telecom / ICT / VAS industry experience is mandatory.
Skills:
- Solid experience in telecom or ICT finance, ideally with VAS, ISP, or interconnect operations.
- Strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Deep understanding of telecom billing systems, settlements, and NCC regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficiency with Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally, and advanced Excel / Power BI skills.
- Integrity, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset.
Salary
N700,000 - N1,000,000 per month.
