Procurement Officer

Description
- We are seeking n experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to support thebusiness by ensuring efficient sourcing, cost control, and uninterrupted operations.
- We have our café which offers coffee, beverages, pastries, and light meals in a relaxed environment, while our studio space serves content creators, photographers, brands, and influencers for shoots, recordings, and creative productions.
- The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies for both the café and the content studio.
- The role requires strong negotiation skills, inventory oversight, cost control awareness, and high integrity to ensure smooth daily operations across both business units.
Key Responsibilities
Café Procurement:
- Source and purchase food ingredients, coffee supplies, beverages, and pastries ingredients
- Procure takeaway packs, cups, straws, cleaning materials, and kitchen tools
- Ensure timely restocking to avoid shortages
- Maintain quality standards while managing costs
Studio & Creative Space Procurement:
- Source studio equipment and accessories (lighting accessories, props, décor items, backdrops, small tools)
- Procure furniture, maintenance materials, and studio consumables
- Ensure all rented spaces are properly equipped and maintained
- Work with studio management to anticipate creative production needs
Vendor & Cost Management:
- Identify and negotiate with reliable suppliers
- Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Monitor price fluctuations within the Lagos market
- Prevent over-invoicing, inflated pricing, or financial leakages
Inventory & Stock Control:
- Monitor stock levels for café and studio supplies
- Conduct periodic stock checks
- Prevent wastage, theft, or unnecessary bulk purchasing
- Coordinate with operations to forecast demand
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain proper purchase records and supplier documentation
- Prepare periodic procurement reports for management
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all transactions
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.
- Applicants must reside on Lagos Island or in close proximity, or be able to commute conveniently to the Island without transportation challenges.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 naira net monthly. (Salary could also be increased based on performance and upon satisfaction by the management).
