Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our mining company in Delta.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications
- This role involves collaboration with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to drive the successful completion of real estate developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with CIRen standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure quality and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform structural analysis and ensure designs meet environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project documentation, including reports, permits, and contracts.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to construction processes and site conditions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance project efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- CIRen certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, structural design, and construction management.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Nigerian building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Goal-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Salary
N250,000 monthly Gross.
