Job Summary
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring system security and efficiency, managing IT infrastructure, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
- This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and experience within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and cybersecurity operations.
- Ensure data security, system integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage core business applications and technology platforms used in insurance broking operations.
- Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Supervise IT staff, vendors, and external service providers.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal resource allocation.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide technical advisory support to Executive Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or related certifications) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 – 10 years experience in IT management, preferably within insurance, financial services, or a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and enterprise systems.
- Proven leadership and project management experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
