Content Writer

Job Summary
- The Content Writer is responsible for creating clear, engaging, and compelling written content that supports the organization’s marketing, corporate communications, and digital media strategies.
- The role involves developing high-quality content across multiple platforms while ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and brand messaging.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop original content for websites, blogs, social media platforms, newsletters, press releases, and marketing campaigns.
- Research industry-related topics to produce accurate, informative, and engaging content.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and communications teams to align content with brand strategy.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar accuracy, and consistency.
- Optimize content for SEO and digital performance.
- Develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assigned projects.
- Interview subject matter experts to create technical or industry-specific content where required.
- Repurpose existing content into various formats (articles, captions, scripts, email campaigns, etc.).
- Maintain brand voice and ensure messaging consistency across all platforms.
- Monitor content performance metrics and suggest improvements where necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in content writing, copywriting, or a related role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems (CMS).
- Experience with social media platforms and digital publishing tools.
- Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and platforms.
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is an advantage.
