Head of Accounts
Location: Head Office, Jabi / Life Camp, Abuja (FCT)

Role Summary
We seek a strategic and accomplished Head of Accounts to provide executive leadership for our financial operations.
The successful candidate will ensure fiscal integrity, regulatory compliance, and provide strategic insights to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive oversight for all accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
Guarantee the timely production of accurate financial statements and management reports.
Supervise the precise and punctual processing of payroll for all personnel.
Develop and execute strategies to optimize accounts receivable and reduce outstanding payments.
Establish, implement, and monitor robust internal financial controls and standardized procedures.
Ensure full adherence to all statutory regulations (FIRS, PENCOM, NSITF).
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts department team.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting or Finance; a postgraduate degree (MBA/MSc) is a distinct advantage.
Membership of a recognized professional accounting body (ICAN or ACCA) is mandatory.
Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience, with at least five (5) years in a senior financial management capacity.
Demonstrated experience within the service industry is highly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Unquestionable integrity and a demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Candidates should be within the age range of 30 to 45 years.
