We are currently seeking a highly experienced and professional Matron to lead and oversee nursing operations across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities across hospital departments
Ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered nursing care
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards
Monitor nursing staff performance and conduct regular evaluations
Coordinate staff scheduling, deployment, and shift management
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
Support recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff
Collaborate with doctors, administrators, and other healthcare professionals
Address patient care concerns and ensure patient satisfaction
Maintain proper documentation and nursing records.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) qualification
Valid practicing license
Minimum of 5–8 years post-qualification experience, with leadership experience
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent clinical knowledge and patient care expertise
Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
High level of professionalism and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
Experience as a Matron, Chief Nursing Officer, or Nursing Supervisor
Experience in hospital administration and nursing management.
