Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
Oversee the daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs of restaurant equipment.
Staff Management:
Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff including servers, cooks, and cleaners.
Create staff schedules and ensure proper staffing levels during peak hours.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action as needed.
Customer Service:
Ensure guests receive excellent customer service and resolve any complaints or issues promptly.
Monitor dining areas to ensure a pleasant atmosphere and customer satisfaction.
Financial Management:
Monitor and control food, labor, and operating costs.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the restaurant through social media, events, and local partnerships.
Gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in menu, service, or ambiance.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and health standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, scheduling tools).
Working Conditions:
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of supplies or equipment.
