Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to oversee the design, coordination, and installation of building services systems across real estate projects.
Responsibilities
The role involves managing HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
Prepare and review M&E designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
Ensure all systems comply with regulatory standards, safety codes, and project requirements.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate services seamlessly into building designs.
Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and adherence to approved drawings.
Review contractor submissions, method statements, and shop drawings.
Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of all mechanical and electrical systems.
Monitor project costs and support value engineering initiatives.
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely resolution during construction.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, as-built drawings, and maintenance manuals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
Professional registration with COREN and relevant experience in real estate or building construction projects is required.
