Platoon is looking for a Sub-Saharan Africa Music Team Lead (Senior) to join our Africa team as a full-time contractor (12 months, with option to extend).
This role is for a senior music operator with deep roots across Africa, particularly West Africa, who can shape continental A&R strategy, lead high-potential artist signings, and represent Platoon’s artist-first vision internally and externally. You’ll drive long-term regional priorities, build strong creative and industry partnerships, and help export African talent to the world. If you have 7+ years in the music industry, a strong pan-African network, and thrive at the intersection of culture, strategy, and execution, we’d love to hear from you.
Ideally based in Lagos (Cape Town also considered).
Must be open to travel across Africa, the UK, and the US.
