Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Officer - Batching Plant

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced, disciplined, and technically sound professionals to join our construction and operations team.
Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in property development and large-scale construction projects, particularly those who have worked with reputable firms such as ITB Nigeria Limited, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, Cappa & D’Alberto Plc, Vita Construction Limited, CCECC, or similar organizations.
Responsibilities
Develop, monitor, and enforce approved concrete mix designs and mix ratios in line with project specifications
Supervise batching plant operations to ensure accurate batching of cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures
Conduct routine quality control tests including slump tests, cube casting, compressive strength tests, and material grading
Ensure all concrete produced meets required strength, durability, and consistency standards
Monitor raw materials (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) for quality, storage, and compliance
Identify, document, and report non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
Maintain detailed quality records, test results, and production logs
Liaise with site engineers, plant operators, and project managers to resolve concrete-related issues
Ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Support continuous improvement of concrete production processes and quality assurance systems.
Requirements
HND/BSc in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in QA/QC within construction or real estate
Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and testing procedures
Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
Experience with reputable construction firms is a strong advantage.
