A growing retail company specializing in mobile and electronics accessories is seeking an experienced HR Manager with proven experience in the retail sector to lead its human resources function and drive organizational growth.
*Key Responsibilities / What You’ll Be Doing*
•Lead the design and implementation of the HR setup to support business strategy and company growth
•Drive full-cycle talent acquisition, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding, with an understanding of retail operations
•Plan and optimize workforce requirements to ensure the right skills and staffing levels for current and future retail needs
•Champion a people-first culture by embedding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) principles across recruitment, engagement, and leadership initiatives
•Enhance employee engagement through programs, feedback mechanisms, and initiatives that improve morale and retention in a retail environment
•Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
•Provide expert HR advisory support on employee relations, performance management, and labor law compliance
•Leverage HR reporting and analytics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement in HR practices
*Requirements*
•5–7 years progressive HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in retail
•Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent)
•Strong expertise in payroll management, employee relations, HR advisory, and policy implementation
•Proven experience structuring teams, processes, and workflows for efficiency
•Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
•Must reside in or be willing to work in Ikeja
