Role Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance/Operations professional to support the organization's financial and operational functions.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning and reporting, budget monitoring, operational cost management, financial analysis, and ensuring effective coordination between finance and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor financial and operational activities to support business objectives.
- Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and management accounts.
- Monitor operational costs, expenses, revenue, and cash flow.
- Analyze financial and operational data to support management decision-making.
- Monitor budgets.
- Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure efficient operational and financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
- Provide financial and operational reports and insights to the Group Financial Controller.
- Support audits and provide required financial documentation and schedules.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend measures to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in finance, accounting, or operations.
- Must have completed ICAN Professional Level.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
- Experience in financial and operational planning and performance monitoring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the airline or aviation industry is an added advantage.
Salary
N1,000,000 - N1,500,000 / Month (Gross).
