We are hiring a performance-driven Email Marketing & Cold Outreach Specialist to own and scale our cold email channel. This role is ideal for someone who understands deliverability, inbox reputation, copy testing, and reply optimization, and has real experience using Instantly.ai and Smartlead.ai.

Role Overview

You will manage cold email campaigns from infrastructure setup to booked meetings. You will be measured strictly on performance KPIs, with the freedom to test and optimize aggressively.

Core Responsibilities

Build, launch, and scale cold email campaigns using Instantly.ai and/or Smartlead.ai

Set up and maintain email infrastructure:

- Domains, inboxes, DNS (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

- Warm-up schedules and inbox rotation

- Write, test, and optimize cold email copy and follow-ups

- Segment and manage lead lists

- Monitor deliverability and spam health daily

- Run A/B tests on copy, subject lines, sequences and send volumes

- Deliver weekly performance reports with insights & next steps

Performance KPIs & Targets:

Your success in this role will be evaluated based on the following monthly and ongoing KPIs;

Deliverability & Infrastructure KPIs

Inbox placement: ≥ 90%

Bounce rate: ≤ 3%

Spam complaint rate: ≤ 0.1%

Domain health: No blacklisting events

Engagement KPIs

Open rate: 50% – 70% (depends on niche and targeting)

Positive reply rate: ≥ 8% (minimum acceptable)

Target reply rate: 10% – 15%

Unsubscribe rate: ≤ 1%

Conversion KPIs

Meetings booked per 1,000 emails:

Minimum: 10–15

Target: 20–30

Reply-to-meeting conversion rate: ≥ 20%

Scaling & Optimization KPIs

Ability to safely scale to 5,000–30,000 emails/month while maintaining deliverability

Launch at least 2–4 A/B tests per month

Continuous improvement in reply and booking rates month over month

✅ Required Experience

- Proven experience running cold email campaigns at scale

- Hands-on experience with Instantly.ai and/or Smartlead.ai

- Strong understanding of deliverability and inbox reputation

- Strong cold email copywriting skills

- Experience with B2B lead generation

Nice to Have

- Experience in SaaS, healthcare, fintech, crypto, or agencies

- Familiarity with lead sources like Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator

- Experience generating pipeline or revenue directly from cold email
