Junior Accountant
Location: Egbeda, Lagos

Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance function of our yoghurt production factory in Egbeda, assisting with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts
- Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash accounts
- Support in tracking raw material costs, inventory, and production expenses
- Assist with payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements
- Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for management
- Assist with statutory remittances (PAYE, pension, VAT) and tax filings
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and support audit processes
Requirements / Qualifications
- OND / HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years' relevant accounting experience (manufacturing/FMCG a plus)
- Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Excel)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial reporting principles
- Honest, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Egbeda or its environs
Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 monthly.
