Cost Accountant (FMCG)

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to manage production costing, inventory valuation, cost analysis, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse actual and standard production costs.
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate cost discrepancies.
- Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods valuation.
- Develop and maintain BOM-based costing.
- Prepare monthly cost and profitability reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ICAN, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation, BOM costing, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage.
Salary
N500,000 – N600,000 Monthly.
