Job Summary 

• We are seeking an experienced Team Lead, Internal Control to oversee internal control activities across stores, warehouses, and support functions, ensuring compliance, loss prevention, effective controls, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Internal Control Officers across multiple locations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies, SOPs, and procedures.
• Conduct control reviews, spot checks, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Oversee cash handling, inventory, refunds, discounts, stock movements, and loss prevention activities.
• Identify control weaknesses, revenue leakages, stock variances, fraud risks, and operational losses.
• Use data analytics to identify exceptions and support continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review internal control reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Audit, Finance, Warehouse, Store Operations, and other business functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7–8 years’ relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance.
• Experience in Retail, FMCG, Hospitality, or Banking is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, warehouse, and retail operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, with ERP/POS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of COSO, ISO 31000, risk management, and fraud detection.
• CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, CFE, CRMA or related certification is an advantage.

Salary

N400,000 Gross Monthly.
