Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Description
- Collect, label and prepare specimens for testing.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures within scope of practice accurately and efficiently.
- Record and document test results accurately in the LIS and relevant laboratory.

- To support the medical laboratory scientist in the efficient processing of patient
- samples and performance of routine laboratory.
- Assist the medical laboratory scientist with other laboratory duties as assigned.
- Follow standard laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning, and basic maintenance as specified
- in applicable SOP
- Report equipment faults, incidents, errors promptly to the medical laboratory scientist
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in medical laboratory technology/science with at least 2 years experience.
- Valid professional registration/license as required.
- Good knowledge of specimen collection, handling, processing and basic laboratory procedures
