Job Summary:
Our client specializes in the import and supply of animal protein and feed ingredients, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Officer to drive business development, customer acquisition, and revenue growth within the animal nutrition and animal protein ingredients market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, managing key accounts, and developing strong commercial relationships across the animal feed, poultry, aqua, and livestock sectors.

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Animal Science, Agriculture, Economics, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years’ relevant sales experience in animal protein ingredients, feed additives, animal nutrition, animal feed, or a closely related industry.
* Strong existing network within the animal feed, poultry, aqua, and livestock sectors.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
* Demonstrated experience in business development and customer acquisition.
* Strong understanding of the animal nutrition, poultry, aqua, livestock, or feed manufacturing market.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and business development capabilities.
* Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory, and deliver results.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
* Must be based in Kano or willing to work from Kano.
