English Language Teacher
Location: Off Surulere Street, Okeigbo - Ondo
Employment Type: Full-Time

Maximum Teaching Load: 18 periods per week
About the Role
- We are seeking a dedicated and qualified English Language Teacher to join its team.
- The successful candidate will teach English Language to SS 2 and SS 3 students and Literature in English to SS 3 students.
- The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make lessons engaging and effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language to SS 2 and SS 3 students.
- Teach Literature in English to SS 3 students.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
- Develop students’ grammar, comprehension, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
- Guide students in understanding and analysing literary texts.
- Assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or BSc in English, English Education, Literature, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of English Language and Literature in English.
- Ability to effectively teach and engage SS 2 and SS 3 students.
- Excellent communication skills and good spoken English.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Professional, patient, and committed to students’ academic growth.
Salary
N80,000 monthly.
